Robyn has been teaching Pilates for over 13 years and nothing gives her more joy than teaching and watching someone realize how awesome they are. She grew up dancing and knew from a young age that she wanted to move and challenge her body. While studying dance, performance, and Kinesiology at Roger Williams University she discovered Pilates and fell in love with the endless benefits it holds.
In 2008 she opened her own Pilates and Fitness studio in San Francisco called Body Equations and it remained her passion for 6 years. In 2014 Robyn decided to evolve her boutique studio by teaming up with Studiomix, an independently owned local gym and helping to develop their new pilates program. Recently, Robyn has moved to Atlanta to be closer to family while raising her daughter. Her goal is to make Pilates more mainstream, without losing it's integrity, and teaching it as a tool that can enhance and improve other fitness goals. Robyn’s personal fitness philosophy is Strength and Flexibility are not two separate things-- you can't have one without the other. In order to find balance you have to challenge it, you have to stumble and you have to laugh at yourself. Besides, laughing is the best way to get killer abs.
Robyn has a BA in Dance and Performance and has been a certified pilates instructor through BASI since 2005.
